What Vault™ Does
Vault™ is the preservation layer of the SRI ecosystem. Where CaseFile™ organizes the structure of a matter and Nexus™ maps how pieces connect, Vault™ focuses on maintaining source materials exactly as they were — with provenance records, version discipline, and custody documentation intact.
Preservation is about more than storage. Vault™ maintains a documented history of source materials: where each file originated, how it was handled, and what its current state is relative to when it was first preserved. That documented history is what gives preserved material weight in institutional contexts.
Vault™ does not verify evidence conclusively or determine its legal admissibility. It helps users maintain and document the condition and origin of their own source materials.

Chain-of-custody documentation improves credibility — it does not substitute for legal or forensic authentication in formal proceedings.
Vault™ is a live web application in a validation environment. Access is private and controlled. It is not yet in general public release.
